Studio with pool, 5 mins walk from beach!

This modern studio apartment (with pool) is located 5 mins walk from the stunning beach with beautiful white sands and clear water. Situated in a small, gated complex of just 3 units, in a safe and conveniently located neighborhood. Walking distance from grocery stores, restaurants, beach bars, shops, 5 mins drive from the airport. With the pool right outside your studio door, free bike rental + unlimited bottled water - it really is the perfect spot to enjoy life in The Bahamas!
The space
The studio is situated in a beautiful hidden-oasis style courtyard, looking right out onto the (shared) pool. The pool is wonderful in this hot climate and much needed! Surrounded by tropical plants and coconut trees, you can sit back, relax in the shade, or grab a lounger and work on your tan! With the studio, you'll have access to your very own gas BBQ/Grill. Enjoy fresh local fish, delicious seafood, locally grown veg, meat, and cook up a Bahamian feast! The studio comes fully equipped - kitchen, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge freezer, gas oven, TV, iron, towels, utensils, AC, plus washer/dryer. We offer complimentary housekeeping every 4 days for our guests that stay longer than a week.

Cable Beach -
Cable Beach is one of the most popular strips of shoreline on Nassau, covering 2.5 miles of pristine beach. There are a good selection of bars, restaurants, and shops on Cable Beach. However, the stretch of Cable Beach itself only has a handful of public access points to the beach. This is very useful to know. The studio apartment lies in the middle of cable beach in a very safe area, located next door to the popular residential area of Sandyport and prestigious Westridge. We are less than 5 mins walk from (one of the BEST) beach access points on cable beach, enjoy a swim before breakfast, a drink watching the glorious sunset, or simply sunbathe all day! We are about 12 mins drive from 'downtown' Nassau, which is busy and enjoyed by more cruise ship passengers. The well-known Baha Mar resort is 5 mins drive. Baha Mar is free to walk around, grab lunch, drinks, browse the boutique shops, casino. You can even mingle with the flamingos during the daily parades (complimentary) starting at Flamingo Cay, 9:30am and 3:30pm daily!

Getting around -
Exploring cable beach is great fun, and walking in the area is perfectly safe. Alternatively, you can use our bikes (x2), which are included in the rental fee. Many people walk the length of cable beach, or you can hop on the local bus (route #10 or #12, $1.25 per trip!). Take the bus and head into 'downtown' Nassau to experience the hustle and bustle - shops, bars, restaurants, tourist spots, and some cultural highlights. The busy & lively beach in town is called 'Junkanoo Beach' and is popular with the cruise ship passengers. If you fancy a great beach day you can also enjoy Goodmans Bay beach on route to town, it has loungers for hire, water sports, refreshments and the water is always calm. Car rental is also a good option for those that don't enjoy walking or prefer convenience. It's also a great way to explore more of the island. We have a handful or providers that we use, alternatively you can book car hire at the airport. New Providence is similar to the USA, where driving is popular and the main way of getting around. Apart from the buses that run until 7 pm, there is no other public transport.

Swim with the Pigs -
The famous 'Pig Beach' is located in The Exumas. The island the pigs live on is called Big Major Cay. Apart from the pigs, the island is uninhabited. The closest inhabited island to Big Mayor Cay is Staniel Cay. Day trips are available by boat from mainland Nassau.
There are however other locations in The Bahamas to see swimming pigs via boat on a day trip from Nassau. They include:
